Welcome to Stoberry Park School PTA (Circle of Friends)
  

The PTA is a charity which helps raise additional funds for Stoberry Park School and supports the school in many ways.  All parents, carers and staff connected with the school are automatically considered to be members. 

We meet around once every half term to organise fundraising events including the Christmas Fayre, Christmas Raffle, Summer Barbecue, Music Quiz, stewarding at the Glastonbury Festival and cake sales. 

We also arrange events to benefit the pupils in other ways such as an End of Year Disco. 

All the money we raise goes directly back into supporting important projects within the school. We are currently in the process of choosing a new project for us to help fund and welcome any ideas.  Back in 2018 the PTA donated over £11,500 to the school including contributing to the new library. We also funded the majority of the installation of a defibrillator which will support the school and local community. In previous years we have raised money to install new outdoor play equipment for Key Stage 2 pupils and helped fund the schools IPADs, bought new play equipment for the Foundation Stage outdoor area and created new garden areas in the school grounds. We have also paid for a play boat and traversing wall for outdoor play, purchased new spotlights, blinds and gym equipment in the school hall, created a KS2 study area, planted a sensory garden and contributed to the reception classes’ outdoor canopy.  

We would welcome new committee members to the PTA or perhaps you could join our Supporters List and help us with the events we hold throughout the year?  You do not have to make a huge commitment, just do what you can; it all helps and is much appreciated!  Involvement with the PTA is a great way to meet new people as well as have some involvement with school activities.
